Leonie Huddy is a SUNY Distinguished Professor and Department Chair in the Department of Political Science at Stony Brook University. She holds a PhD in Social Psychology from UCLA. Her research focuses on political behavior, intergroup relations, and gender/race dynamics, with recent work on partisan identities and polarization in the U.S. and Western Europe.
Education: PhD in Social Psychology (University of California, Los Angeles).
Roles: Co-editor of Political Psychology (2005–2010), Past-President of the International Society of Political Psychology (ISPP), and member of the American National Election Studies Board of Overseers.
