Leonard Steinhorn is a Professor of Communication and Affiliate Professor of History at American University. His expertise spans American politics, political communication, media studies, and the cultural and historical context of the 1960s and baby boom generation. He has been recognized with prestigious awards, including being named AU Faculty Member of the Year twice and Honors Professor of the Year in 2010.
Stehorn holds a BA in History from Vassar College and an MA in History from Johns Hopkins University. He has authored notable works such as The Greater Generation and By the Color of Our Skin, and contributes regularly to media outlets like the Washington Post and New York Times.
