Leon Harris

Leon Harris is a Clinical Legal Educator at the School of Law and Society (University of the Sunshine Coast). He holds legal qualifications including an LLB from QUT and a BA from the University of Queensland, complemented by a PGdDip Ed and MA from the University of Phoenix. His professional background includes over a decade in commercial law practice, with expertise in litigation, contracts, property, and succession law. Current PhD research investigates liability for concussions in contact sports, focusing on governing bodies' responsibilities toward women and children. Awards include the 1998 Executive Dean’s Commendation from the University of Queensland.

Teaching areas include Civil Procedure and Contract Law. Professional affiliations include the Sunshine Coast Law Association and LawInSport.
