Dr Lee Hutt serves as a Lecturer in Biomedical Sciences at the School of Biomedical Sciences within the Faculty of Health at the University of Plymouth. He holds dual administrative roles as Deputy Programme Lead for the B.Sc. (Hons) Biomedical Science program and PALS Coordinator for the School, demonstrating active engagement in academic leadership and student support systems.
His research and teaching expertise centers on infection mechanisms, immune responses, and disease pathology, with significant focus on clinical microbiology and cancer biology. This work directly contributes to UN Sustainable Development Goal 3 (Good Health and Well-being) through biomedical education and research applications in human disease contexts.
