Gyorgy Fejer

Gyorgy Fejer is Associate Professor of Infection and Immunity at Plymouth University's School of Biomedical Sciences. His research develops novel alveolar macrophage models to study lung immunity in infections, asthma, and COPD.

Qualifications include:

Research focuses on molecular mechanisms of macrophage function, creating non-transformed cell models that reduce animal testing. Current projects analyze innate immune responses in pulmonary pathologies using proteomics and cell biology approaches.
