Dr Lee Beaumont serves as an Associate Professor in Physical Education at the University of East Anglia's School of Education and Lifelong Learning. With extensive experience in state education and industry roles, he joined UEA full-time in 2008 after a year-long secondment.

- PGCert in Higher Education Practice, UEA
His research focuses on physical education curriculum design and health promotion through lifestyle sports. As an international consultant, he has developed PE curricula adopted in over 100 countries.
Recent publications emphasize lifestyle sports integration, movement behavior interventions, and athlete-to-coach transitions. His work aligns with UN Sustainable Development Goals related to quality education and good health.

Beaumont contributes to academic governance as Chair of UG and PGT Extenuating Circumstances Panel and member of multiple committees.
