Dr. Lee G. Barrow, a Professor of Music at the University of North Georgia since 2001, specializes in conducting, composition, music theory, music theater, and music technology. With over 35 years of experience as a college teacher, conductor, administrator, and musical theater director, he has conducted diverse ensembles ranging from collegiate to professional choral and orchestral groups.

His research focuses on correcting errors in choral editions and Ottorino Respighi, resulting in a new performing edition of Saint-Saëns' Christmas Oratorio and an annotated bibliography on Respighi that became a bestseller. He has also authored 15 books and over a dozen professional articles, alongside composing works like Festive Bell Flourish, a top-selling handbell piece. Barrow's expertise extends to directing over 100 musical theater performances and serving as Associate Conductor of the Broward Symphony Orchestra.
