Ann Fredrickson is an Adjunct Professor in the Department of Music at Bethany Lutheran College, where she has been teaching for over two decades. She serves as Director of the Choraliers, Handbell Choir, and Mary Martha Singers, contributing significantly to the college's choral and musical theater programs.

- Masters of Music in Vocal Performance, San Francisco Conservatory of Music (Valedictorian)
- Bachelor's Degree, St. Olaf College (National Merit Scholar)
Her research and performance interests span vocal performance, opera, choral conducting, music education, and music history. With a strong belief in individualized instruction and personal relationships in learning, she teaches courses such as Music History, Opera and Lyric Theatre, Vocal Pedagogy, and Music Appreciation, including an online version she developed. Her expertise bridges performance and pedagogy, with deep roots in both academic and professional music settings.
Ann's performance accolades include the Eleanor Koehler Ellerbe Award, First Runner-up in the District Metropolitan Opera Competition, and multiple state and national awards from NATS and the Minnesota Federation of Music Clubs. She has performed oratorio works such as Messiah, Ein Deutsches Requiem, and works by George Crumb at prestigious venues including Davies Symphony Hall.
She has taught a wide range of courses including private instruction in voice, piano, and organ across multiple levels, as well as conducting, world music, film scoring, and theatre practicum. She continues to shape music education at Bethany through curriculum development and ensemble leadership.
Ann lives in the Twin Cities with her husband Sam and their three children.
