Dr. Adrienne Dickson is an Adjunct Professor in the Department of Music at Concordia University, Lincoln, Nebraska, and also teaches at York College. She specializes in voice, vocal pedagogy, diction, and film music instruction. Her academic training includes a D.M.A. in Vocal Performance from the University of Nebraska–Lincoln, an M.M. in Opera Performance from the Boston Conservatory, and a B.F.A. in Music Theatre from the University of Nebraska–Lincoln.
Her research and professional interests center on vocal performance, opera, music theatre, and vocal pedagogy. She is an active performer as a mezzo-soprano, with a rich history in operatic roles and oratorio solo performances. Her repertoire spans from Baroque to contemporary works, including major roles in operas such as Dead Man Walking, The Gondoliers, and Susannah, and solo performances in Messiah, Verdi's Requiem, and Mozart's Requiem.

Dr. Dickson is actively involved in performance ensembles such as Sounding Light, Résonance, and the Abendmusik Youth Masterworks Festival. She has toured internationally with choirs and performed in productions in New York City and across the Midwest.
