Leanne Fried

Leanne Fried is an Adjunct Research Fellow at The University of Western Australia (UWA), affiliated with the UWA Medical School and the UWA Centre for Child Health Research (linked to The Kids Research Institute Australia). Her work focuses on adolescent health, diabetes management, mental health, and public health policy. Current research includes interventions for youth with chronic conditions, digital health innovations, and arts-based well-being strategies.

Her research interests span:

• Social emotional wellbeing through arts programs
• Policy analysis for child obesity prevention

Her work contributes to UN Sustainable Development Goals related to good health and well-being (SDG 3), quality education (SDG 4), and sustainable cities (SDG 11).
