Dr. Leah Dundon is a Research Assistant Professor in Civil and Environmental Engineering at Vanderbilt University and Director of the Vanderbilt Climate Change Initiative. She is also a practicing environmental attorney with expertise in climate policy and risk management.
Her research focuses on climate change impacts on infrastructure, maritime shipping decarbonization, and climate adaptation strategies. She leads interdisciplinary work examining extreme weather effects on infrastructure and develops stakeholder engagement approaches for maritime GHG reduction.
Dr. Dundon organizes student participation in UN climate conferences (COP), creating opportunities for cross-disciplinary learning and global engagement in climate solutions.
