Lea Kibler is an Applied Lecturer in the Department of Performing Arts at Clemson University's College of Arts and Humanities. She holds a Master of Music degree from the Yale University School of Music, where she studied under Thomas Nyfenger. Her musical training also includes studies with Geoffrey Gilbert and William Bennett in England.

Prof. Kibler's expertise spans flute performance, chamber music, and orchestral playing. She has performed with renowned ensembles such as the Florida Philharmonic Orchestra, Moscow Chamber Orchestra, and the Florida Chamber Virtuosi. Her career includes collaborations with artists like Szymon Goldberg and appearances at festivals like Spoleto and Norfolk Chamber Music. Additionally, she is an active arranger, clinician, and solo performer, with recordings on Harmonia Mundi, Naxos, and collaborations with artists like Plácido Domingo and Gloria Estefan.
Her teaching covers Applied Flute Lessons, Flute Ensemble, and Music in the Western World. Prior to Clemson, she taught at institutions in South Florida, including the New World School of the Arts and Lynn University Conservatory.
