Anne Harrow is an Associate Professor of Flute & Piccolo at the Eastman School of Music, University of Rochester, where she has served on the faculty since 1995. She coordinates Woodwind Chamber Music and supervises Applied Woodwind Studio teaching assistants.

As a performer, Ms. Harrow has held principal flute positions with MasterWorks China, Lake Placid Sinfonietta, Florida West Coast Symphony, and Rochester Philharmonic Orchestra. She was honored as a Visiting Professor at Zhengzhou Normal University in China and artist faculty at the MasterWorks Festival in Indiana since 2014.
Her recordings include the Grammy Award-winning opera Barber’s Anthony and Cleopatra (Spoleto Festival, Italy) and collaborations with the Eastman Wind Ensemble, Rochester Philharmonic Orchestra, and Lake Placid Sinfonietta. She contributed articles to the National Flute Association’s Flutist Quarterly on pedagogy and historical Eastman figures.

Harrow actively bridges performance practice between educational institutions and professional orchestras across the U.S., China, and Europe, maintaining expertise in both classical and contemporary flute repertoire.
