Lauren Reynolds is an Associate Professor of Music and Director of Concert Bands at the University of Delaware School of Music. She leads the University of Delaware Wind Ensemble and teaches conducting and wind literature. She holds a B.M. in Music Education and M.M. in Conducting from the University of Delaware, and a D.M.A. in Wind Conducting (with a flute performance cognate) from the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music.
Under her direction, the Wind Ensemble has earned accolades, including second place in the 2021 American Prize, and has performed at prestigious events such as the Úbeda Festival in Spain (2019), CBDNA Eastern Division Conferences (2020, 2024), and the WASBE Conference in Prague (2022). Dr. Reynolds previously served as President of the Eastern Division of CBDNA. She resides in Maryland with her husband, a professional bassoonist, and their two children.
