Martha Matthews is an Adjunct Professor of Flute at Cornerstone University's School of Ministry, Media & the Arts. She holds a B.M. in Music Education from Houghton College and a M.M. in Flute Performance from the University of Idaho. Her roles include teaching woodwind methods and flute performance, alongside extensive freelance and ensemble engagements.

She also collaborates with her husband, Dr. Gary Matthews, in sacred concert tours across the U.S.
Matthews previously served as an adjunct professor at Eastern University and maintains a private flute studio. Her work extends to conducting and clinical training in handbell music, emphasizing both artistic and ministry-oriented musical practices.
