Corlyn Longer-Schreck

Corlyn Longer-Schreck is an Affiliate Artist for Voice at Cornerstone University's School of Ministry, Media & the Arts. She holds an M.M. in Vocal Performance from Western Michigan University and a B.A. in Vocal Music from the University of Northern Iowa, with additional studies in opera and recital music at the American Institute of Musical Studies in Graz, Austria. A professional lyric soprano with over 30 years of residency in Kalamazoo, she teaches voice at Kalamazoo College, Crescendo Academy of Music, and Advanced Music Theater/Education for the Arts in Portage, Mich. Her career includes solo performances with regional ensembles like the Kalamazoo Symphony and Grand Rapids Choir of Men and Boys, as well as Metropolitan Opera Auditions recognition. She has adjudicated voice competitions for NATS, Michigan Music Association, and others.
