Lauren Hepworth

Dr. Lauren Hepworth is a Tenure Track Fellow and qualified Orthoptist at the University of Liverpool, specializing in stroke-related visual impairment and quality of life measurement. She serves as Chief Investigator for studies including the Organisation of Sight Services for Brain Injury (OSSBI), Oxford Cognitive Screen Visual Impairment adaptation, and Impact of Visual Impairment after Stroke II (IVIS II).

Her research spans visual rehabilitation post-stroke, development of clinical tools like the Brain Injury-related Visual Impairment Impact Questionnaire (BIVI-IQ), and international collaborations with the European Stroke Organisation (ESO) and Norwegian Vision In Stroke (NorVIS) network. Notable grants include funding from Stroke Association (2019-2024) and Fight for Sight (2022-2024).
