Dr. Miriam Conway is a Lecturer in the Department of Optometry and Visual Science at City, University of London, part of City and St George's, University of London. She has been a key academic and orthoptist at the institution since 2007, contributing significantly to teaching, research, and professional service in the field of vision science and orthoptics.
Her educational background includes a BSc (Hons) in Orthoptics from the University of Liverpool and a PhD in Ophthalmic and Physiological Optics from Aston University. Prior to joining City, she worked as a lecturer and researcher at Aston University and held clinical positions as an orthoptist, senior orthoptist, and specialist advanced orthoptist in hospitals across the West Midlands.
