Dr. Laura Hynes is a Lecturer and Unit Coordinator in the School of Nursing and Midwifery at Edith Cowan University (ECU), teaching undergraduate and postgraduate courses. She coordinates programs such as the Master of Clinical Nursing (Advanced Nursing Specialisation) and Master of Nursing (Graduate Entry). Concurrently, she maintains a clinical role as a Registered Nurse in a Rural Adult Intensive Care Unit, with extensive experience in critical care, emergency, and specialty nursing. Her research focuses on nursing workforce retention, job satisfaction, leadership impact, and end-of-life care barriers in ICU settings.
