Dr Lalnunpuia Samuel is a Lecturer in Marketing and Programme Leader for BSc Marketing at Brunel Business School, College of Business, Arts and Social Sciences, Brunel University of London. He holds a PhD in Management Studies (Marketing) from the same institution and is a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (FHEA). Prior to his current role, he served as an Associate Lecturer at Coventry University London and a Graduate Teaching Assistant at Brunel.

Dr Samuel’s research explores the intersection of digital adoption, trust, and socio-cultural dynamics, particularly through human values and lived experiences. His work focuses on digital consumer culture, acculturation, political identity, and social media in marketing, with a special emphasis on ethnic and immigrant communities. He investigates how moral principles and cultural values influence consumption behaviors in digital environments.
His recent publications appear in high-ranking journals such as Journal of World Business, Technological Forecasting and Social Change, and International Journal of Information Management. His research trends indicate a strong focus on digital transformation in SMEs, political acculturation among minorities, and the cultural dimensions of digital consumer behavior, often employing qualitative and interpretive methodologies.

Dr Samuel actively supervises MSc dissertations and PGR research as a Research Development Advisor. He previously served as the CIM Accreditation Lead (2023–2025) and contributes to academic service as an ad hoc reviewer for peer-reviewed journals and conferences. He is currently developing industry collaborations in the healthcare sector in London.
