Dr. Bidit Dey is a Senior Lecturer/Associate Professor in Marketing and Director of Accreditation at the Sheffield University Management School (SUMS). He leads SUMS' international accreditation efforts and contributes to strategic initiatives as part of the Executive Board. Previously, he served as Associate Head of Brunel Business School (Strategy & External Relations) and led the Brunel MBA program. His research focuses on consumer acculturation, digital transformation, co-creation, and technology adoption in multicultural contexts.
Dr. Dey has authored over 45 articles in top journals like Journal of the Association for Information Systems, British Journal of Management, and International Marketing Review. His work explores themes such as AI adoption in SMEs, social media's role in cultural integration, and sustainable value co-creation in B2B settings. He has also published a book on ICTs in Developing Countries (Palgrave Macmillan, 2016).
His research trends emphasize digital transformation challenges, ethical technology use, and cross-cultural marketing strategies. Articles frequently analyze Industry 5.0 applications, privacy concerns in social media, and post-Brexit consumer behavior. He has contributed to policy-relevant studies on crisis management, telecommunication markets, and microfinance innovation in developing economies.
Dr. Dey holds a PhD and has advised on strategic alliances, innovation ecosystems, and sustainable operations. His work bridges academic rigor with industry impact, addressing emerging challenges in global business environments.
