Kathryn Mitchell is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Digital Marketing at Staffordshire Business School, Staffordshire University. She specializes in digital marketing strategy, ethical marketing practices, and the integration of technology in education. As Award Leader for the BA (Hons) Digital & Social Media Marketing and Course Leader for Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM) programs, her roles emphasize bridging academic and industry needs. Her professional background includes training digital marketing apprentices and fostering partnerships with SMEs in Manchester, Birmingham, and London to provide student work opportunities.
Dr. Mitchell holds a MSc in Digital Marketing Management and is a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (FHEA) and Microsoft Innovative Educator with Expert status (MIEE). Her research focuses on ethical digital marketing strategies and consumer behavior, alongside innovative teaching methods. Notable publications include studies on hybrid learning post-pandemic and the adoption of Microsoft Teams in higher education.
