Dr. Kushtrim Istrefi is an Associate Professor of Public International Law and Human Rights Law at the Utrecht University School of Law, specializing in the European Convention on Human Rights (ECHR) and its interplay with international law and security. He serves as the director of the Master's program in Public International Law and co-founded the Research Platform on Peace, Security, and Human Rights. His roles include editorial board member of the European Convention on Human Rights Law Review and co-editor-in-chief of the ECHR Blog.
