Kristian Ruming is a Professor and ARC Future Fellow at Macquarie University's School of Communication, Society and Culture, affiliated with the Housing and Urban Research Centre. Holding a prominent academic rank, he contributes extensively to urban governance, housing policy, and planning reform research.
Research Interests include: urban regeneration planning, formal and everyday assemblages of renewal, planning reform impacts on development, social/affordable housing construction, and resident resistance to urban consolidation.
