Kristal Buckley is a Lecturer in Cultural Heritage at Deakin University, Australia, and a member of Deakin University's Cultural Heritage Centre for Asia and the Pacific in Melbourne. She is currently pursuing her PhD at the University of Melbourne.
Her research focuses on evolving forms of heritage practices and international heritage organizations, with particular expertise in intangible cultural heritage. Her work examines the intersection of cultural practices, heritage management, and international policy frameworks.
