Hilary du Cros is an Honorary Research Associate in the Faculty of Business at the University of New Brunswick, Saint John. She holds a PhD from Monash University and a Bachelor's degree from the University of Sydney. With over 30 years of experience in the Asia Pacific region, she specializes in cultural heritage management, arts administration, and sustainable tourism practices. Her work bridges academic research with practical applications through consulting and policy development.
Dr. du Cros has taught in Hong Kong and Macau, and actively contributes to international organizations like the United Nations World Tourism Organization (UNWTO), International Council on Monuments and Sites (ICOMOS), and UNESCO. She has authored over 120 scholarly works including books such as Cultural Tourism: The Partnership between Tourism and Cultural Heritage Management (2002) and Cultural Heritage Management in China (2007), alongside 250 consulting reports.
