Dr. Krishna Udayakumar serves as Associate Professor of Global Health and Medicine at Duke University while holding multiple leadership roles including Founding Director of the Duke Global Health Innovation Center, Executive Director of Innovations in Healthcare, Core Faculty Member at the Duke-Margolis Center for Health Policy, and Associate Director for Innovation at the Duke Global Health Institute.
His educational background includes a Phi Beta Kappa bachelor's degree in interdisciplinary studies from the University of Virginia, followed by dual MD and MBA degrees from Duke University where he was a Fuqua Scholar. He completed internal medicine residency at Duke and served as Assistant Chief Resident at the Durham VA Medical Center.
