David McAdams is a Professor of Business Administration at Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business and a Professor of Economics in Trinity College of Arts & Sciences. He holds a B.S. in Applied Mathematics from Harvard University, an M.S. in Statistics from Stanford University, and a Ph.D. in Business from Stanford’s Graduate School of Business. His research focuses on game theory, economic epidemiology, and auction theory, with applications to market design, infectious disease management, and public health policy.
McAdams has held roles such as Associate Professor at MIT Sloan School of Management and has contributed to policy initiatives like the Medicare prescription drug benefit and FCC spectrum auctions. His work bridges economics and biology, addressing challenges like antibiotic resistance and pandemic preparedness.
