Kim Toft Hansen is an Associate Professor at the Department of Culture and Learning, Aalborg University, affiliated with The Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities. His research focuses on Nordic TV drama, media production, streaming services, and the intersection of media history with cultural policies. He leads projects like DETECt (H2020) and GEMINI (EU-CERV), examining transnational media narratives and gender equality education through serial dramas.
