Kim Scarsi, PharmD, MSc, FCCP, BCPS is the Chair of the Department of Pharmacy Practice and Science at the University of Nebraska Medical Center (UNMC) and holds the Lewis E. and Antonia E. Harris Professor title. She leads research on optimizing HIV pharmacotherapies with a focus on global health, gender-related issues, and antiretroviral interactions with hormonal contraceptives.

Scarsi's work bridges HIV pharmacotherapy, contraceptive drug interactions, and women's health, with significant projects on long-acting antiretrovirals and their impact on reproductive health. She also investigates pharmacogenetic factors in drug efficacy and safety for HIV-positive populations.
