Kim Kettner is a Doctoral Candidate and Research Associate at the Max Weber Institute of Sociology, Heidelberg University. Since 2024, they have contributed to projects such as Transforming Cultural Heritage in 3D, and since 2025, they have pursued their doctoral studies at the same institute. Kim's research focuses on whistleblowing mechanisms, organizational deviance, digitalization in cultural participation, and political corruption.

Kim's ongoing projects include Whistleblowing in Organizations – The Influence of Whistleblowing Measures on the Compliance Culture in Organizations and Transforming Cultural Heritage in 3D, emphasizing sustainable knowledge transfer. Their teaching includes the course Rule Deviations within and by Organizations for the Summer Semester 2025.
