Kerry F. Crawford is a Professor of Political Science and Department Chair at James Madison University (JMU). She holds a Ph.D. from George Washington University (2014) and a B.A. from St. Mary’s College of Maryland (2007). Her research focuses on international affairs, sexual violence in war, human security, and gender dynamics in politics and academia. She has authored/co-authored influential books such as Wartime Sexual Violence: From Silence to Condemnation of a Weapon of War (2017) and Human Security: Theory and Action (2018).
