Ersel Aydınlı serves as Executive Director of the Turkish Fulbright Commission and Associate Professor in the Department of International Relations at Bilkent University, Ankara, where he previously chaired the department for three years.

Research Profile: Dr. Aydınlı specializes in international relations theory, globalization-security dynamics, terrorism studies, and Turkish domestic/foreign policy analysis. His scholarly output appears in premier journals including Foreign Affairs, Journal of Peace Research, and Security Dialogue, alongside seminal books such as Emerging Transnational (In)security Governance (Routledge, 2010) and Paradigms in Transition (SUNY Press, 2005, co-authored with James N. Rosenau).
As a former Turkish government officer, he integrates policy experience with academia, having taught at McGill University, Middle East Technical University (Ankara), and George Washington University.
