Kenneth Fox is an Associate Professor in the Department of Accounting at the Edwards School of Business, University of Saskatchewan. He holds a PhD from the University of Alberta School of Business, along with professional certifications including CPA (Saskatchewan), CIA (IIA Saskatchewan), MPAcc, and B.Comm degrees from the University of Saskatchewan. His research focuses on accounting information regulation and its role in financial markets, sustainability reporting, and accounting education. He has conducted fieldwork across Canada, USA, Central Asia, and the West Indies.
Research interests include securities market disclosure, non-GAAP earnings measures, sustainability reporting, and innovative teaching methodologies for ESG advocacy. He employs qualitative social theory-based methodologies. Recent work emphasizes ESG mindset models, sustainability certification cultures, and regulatory modernization in energy sectors.
Teaching responsibilities include COMM 412 (Accounting Theory) and COMM 201 (Introduction to Financial Accounting). He is a GRI Certified Sustainability Professional, holds FSA Accreditation (Value Reporting Foundation), and Living Future Accreditation (International Living Future Institute). His work bridges accounting practices with broader sustainability and governance challenges.
