Dr. Kelli Larson is a Lecturer at Curtin Law School, part of the Faculty of Business and Law at Curtin University. She holds a Doctorate in Commercial Law (DSc(Comm. Law)), Master of Science in Commercial Law, and multiple diplomas in business and education. Her research focuses on patent law, corporate governance, and innovation policy, with expertise in non-practicing entities (NPEs), patent litigation, and regulatory frameworks across jurisdictions including the USA, Europe, and China. Kelli has presented at international conferences, testified before the Australian Parliament, and held visiting research roles at institutions such as Monash University, University of Aberdeen, and George Mason University’s Scalia Law School.
Her teaching spans corporate law, intellectual property commercialization, and governance models. She is a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy and actively contributes to the Society of Corporate Law Academics. Kelli’s publications include peer-reviewed articles, books on patent law, and policy submissions addressing audit industry accountability and greenwashing. Her work bridges legal, business, and policy domains, emphasizing the intersection of intellectual property with innovation ecosystems and regulatory challenges.
