Kathy Winslow is an Associate Professor at the University of New Brunswick's Faculty of Education. She holds a PhD from the University of Minnesota (1993), an MS from North Dakota State University (1983), and a BSc from Saint Francis Xavier University (1981). Her expertise spans teacher education, classroom assessment, and pedagogical theories. She teaches courses such as ED 4164 (Techniques of Teaching) and ED 5001-5003 (Teaching and Learning Theories), and oversees practicum placements for interns across all grade levels and subject areas.
Winslow actively contributes to academic governance, serving as Chair of the Faculty Undergraduate Programs Committee, Faculty Undergraduate Admissions Committee, and Faculty Administrative Support Committee. She also participates in Senate Curriculum Committee and Faculty Field Experiences Committee, shaping institutional policies and educational practices.
