Kate Wall

Kate Wall is Professor of Education at the University of Strathclyde, focusing on innovative pedagogies and research methodologies that facilitate metacognition and democratic learning spaces. Her work develops approaches for eliciting authentic student voices across all educational stages.

Research explores practitioner enquiry methods, visual approaches to understanding learning experiences, and ethical frameworks for child participation in research. She collaborates internationally on projects like AdVoST (Advancing Young Children's Inclusion and Agency), examining socially innovative interventions.
