معرفی
Prof. Lesley Walls is a Professor of Management Science at the University of Strathclyde's Strathclyde Business School. Her research focuses on developing risk-informed decision models for socio-technical systems, with applications in maritime, energy, aerospace, and defense sectors. She holds Chartered Statistician status and is a Fellow of the UK Safety and Reliability Society.
Her work integrates stochastic modeling, statistical methods, and expert elicitation to address complex operational challenges. Notable contributions include Bayesian network approaches for Arctic search and rescue, reliability growth modeling for offshore wind energy, and data-driven failure prediction frameworks.
