Karin Reynolds

Karin Reynolds is an Assistant Teaching Professor and Program Coordinator for the Educational Leadership Program at the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs (UCCS), within the College of Education. She holds positions in the Leadership, Research, and Foundations department and serves as President of the Academy District 20 Board of Education. With over 40 years in education, her career spans roles as a teacher, principal, superintendent, and consultant.

Research & Service: Her expertise focuses on educational leadership, instructional practices, and administrative policy. She actively contributes to professional organizations including the Colorado Association of School Boards (CASB), Colorado Association of School Administrators (CASE), and the Association for Supervision and Curriculum Development (ASCD). She also chairs the Academy District 20 Board and previously led Educating Children of Color.

Teaching: She instructs courses such as Legal and Financial Aspects of School Administration (LEAD 6150), Instructional Leadership (LEAD 5230), and Practicum in School Leadership (LEAD 6820).
