Jörg Großschedl

Prof. Dr. Jörg Großschedl is a University Professor at the Institute for Biology Education within the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences at the University of Cologne. He holds a doctorate in Biology Didactics from the Leibniz Institute for Science and Mathematics Education (IPN) at Kiel University. His professional roles include Deputy Department Director for Mathematics and Science Education (2025–2026), Deputy Managing Director of the Institute for Biology Education (since 2019), and membership on the Board of Trustees of the Knowledge Foundation of Sparkasse KölnBonn (since 2020).
