Thomas Gabor

Thomas Gabor is a Research Scientist at the Leibniz Institute for Science and Mathematics Education (IPN) in Kiel since 2023, affiliated with the Biology Education department. He works on the EngageMINT project, focusing on knowledge transfer for environmentally aware young people to raise interest in STEM.

• Current research topics include scientific inquiry, control of variables strategy, and gamification.
• Prior roles include being a Physics and Mathematics Teacher (2016–2020, 2015–2016) and a Lecturer at Furtwangen University (2013–2016).

His qualifications include a Diplom in Physics (2012) and the Second State Examination in Physics and Mathematics (2022), with academic training at the University of Erlangen–Nuremberg (2006–2012).
