Jungyoon Kim is an Associate Professor in Practice of Landscape Architecture at Harvard University's Graduate School of Design (GSD). She co-founded PARKKIM, a landscape architecture firm, and has led projects across Korea, Europe, and the US, including the Seoul Museum of Craft Art and CJ Blossom Park. Her research focuses on urban subterrains, climate resilience, and rethinking 'natural' spaces in dense urban environments.
Education: Master of Landscape Architecture (GSD), Bachelor of Agriculture (Seoul National University, distinction).

Recent Projects include the Suseongmot Lake Floating Stage (Daegu, 2024-2026) and the 'Below, Above, and Beyond' series exploring underground spaces in Seoul, Antwerp, and Boston. Her 2015 book Alternative Nature redefines urban 'nature' in East Asian cities.
