Julie Steiger is an Adjunct Lecturer in the Department of Government at Georgetown University's College of Arts and Sciences. She is based in Amman, Jordan, where she serves as Head of the MENA Region for Integrity Global, providing strategic leadership for development and humanitarian initiatives across the Middle East.
Her academic and professional background centers on fragile and conflict-affected contexts, with over 20 years of experience in humanitarian programming, public health, protection, and civil society development in the Middle East, Africa, and post-Soviet regions. She teaches seminars at Georgetown’s Center for Conflict Resolution, drawing on her extensive field experience.
