Julie DellaMattera is an Associate Professor of Early Childhood Development and Education at the University of Maine, affiliated with the College of Education and Human Development. She currently serves as Program Coordinator for the Human Development and Family Studies program. Holding an Ed.D. in Educational Leadership (2006) from the University of Maine, her research focuses on early childhood policy, teacher support systems, and social-emotional development in preschool settings. She advocates for quality early education programs and has extensive experience in early childhood education roles, including preschool ownership, policy advising, and statewide training initiatives.
