Julie Cousineau is a Clinical Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Medicine and School of Public Health of the University of Montreal. She works in the Department of Family Medicine and Emergency Medicine and Department of Social and Preventive Medicine, with a focus on legal and ethical analysis in health law, family law, and children's rights. Her research bridges civil law, patrimonial law, and the interpretation of laws.

Her research interests include health law, bioethics, and children's rights, particularly in assisted reproduction and clinical ethics.
