Julia Maresca

Julia Maresca is an Associate Professor in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at the University of Delaware. Her research focuses on bacteria in natural environments, examining their interactions, effects on environmental chemistry, and responses to environmental changes. Specific areas of expertise include bacterial pigments (colored molecules produced by bacteria) and bacterial communication mechanisms.
