Joy Teles Oliveira

Joy Teles Oliveira, Ph.D., is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Counseling at the University of North Texas at Dallas. An international faculty member from Brazil, she focuses on fostering collaborative, self-reflective learning environments and advancing multicultural competence in counseling practices.

• Research Interests: Counselor professional identity development, multicultural perspectives in counseling, culturally responsive practices in counseling.
