Dr. Isabel C. Farrell is an Associate Professor and Associate Department Chair in the Department of Counseling at Wake Forest University. She holds a Ph.D. in Counselor Education from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville (2018), an M.S. in Counseling Psychology (2012), and a B.A. in Psychology (2009) from Northeastern State University.

Dr. Farrell's research focuses on bilingual counseling, immigrant/refugee populations, legislative advocacy, and social justice education. Her recent work examines telehealth policy, vocational wellness for immigrant counselors, burnout predictors, and DEI implementation in counselor education programs.
Notable awards include the ACA Carl D. Perkins Government Relations Award (2023) and the SACES Courtland Lee Social Justice Award (2021). She serves on editorial boards and has held leadership roles in SACES, including President (2024-2025) and President-Elect (2023-2024).
