Joseph Smolinski

Joseph Smolinski is a multidisciplinary artist and educator currently serving as a Lecturer in the Department of Art & Design at the University of New Haven's College of Arts and Sciences. He received his M.F.A. from the University of Connecticut (Storrs, 2001) and B.F.A. from the University of Wisconsin (1999). His work explores the intersection of technology with natural environments through diverse mediums including digital animations, sculpture, and painting.

Smolinski's practice investigates themes like energy infrastructure, bio-technology hybrids, and human impacts on ecological systems. His scientific awards include:
