Jonathan Hinkle serves as Director of Bands and Associate Professor of Music at Colorado Mesa University (CMU), where he oversees the comprehensive band program including the Maverick Stampede marching band, Wind Symphony, Concert Band, and commercial ensembles like the Rowdy Brass Band and Mesa Brass Band. He joined CMU in 2012, establishing these programs from scratch, which now occupy the dedicated Stampede Center. His roles include conducting, curriculum development, and teaching applied trumpet to 10-13 students annually.
